The Ship Inn Herne Bay
The Ship Inn Herne Bay

The Ship Inn is reputed to be the oldest building in Herne Bay, believed to have been built in and around 1385.
The pub is situated on the sea front with beautiful views across the bay.
It has previously been a hotel but now reverts to a pub with a restaurant offering real ales, lagers, bottle drinks and home cooked food.

The new owners Julie and Lynda took over the Ship in February 07 and were joined by Basim in July.
We have set out to create a family pub atmosphere with good locally sourced food where possible reasonably priced with a range of real ales, keg bitter and lagers.
We have 2 chefs and a number of bar staff to ensure that your needs are dealt with timely and friendly.

The Ship Inn currently serve the following drinks Kronenberg 1664 and Blanc, Shepard and Neame spitfire and Master Brew, Fosters, Stella, Guiness, John Smiths and Strongbow all on tap plus a range of bottled beers, lagers, ciders ,alco pops and soft drinks.
You can also purchase tea and coffee and other hot beverages.

All you budding musicians get down to the Ship on Tuesday evening with or without your musical instruments and take centre stage to perform your own songs or cover songs to a lively audience. A night not to miss for the next Elvis or Beatles
